Privacy NoticeBritain’s Got Talent turned into a spectacle just minutes into Thursday’s live semi-final when a familiar face got jeered on stage as he kept returning, despite not being successful with judges. During the audition rounds, an act named Bobby Goldfinn who donned a quirky goldfish mask, tried his luck at cracking jokes in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli. However, Bobby kept messing up his punchlines and ended up with four red buzzers from the unamused panel. Simon quipped post-performance: “Well, the good thing is you’re going to forget this ever happened.” However, it seemed Bobby really did have a fishy memory as they came back for another go, only to muddle up their lines once more, prompting groans and red buzzers from the judges yet again.

But the ongoing saga didn’t end there as comedian Bobby decided to come back for a third attempt, much to everyone’s surprise. This then led to a comical chase as presenters Ant McPartlin – who has recently become a dad for the first time to son Wilder – and Dec Donnelly tried to usher the persistent act offstage. Fast forward to Thursday’s live semi-final, and no sooner had the show kicked off than Ant and Dec found themselves sharing the spotlight with none other than Bobby Goldfin. The crowd quickly turned, booing as he launched into his routine, while the judges were quick to hit their red crosses, reports the Mirror.

After getting Bobby Goldfinn off stage, Ant and Dec humorously reminded him: “It’s not the auditions, it’s the semi-finals! Bobby Goldfinn everybody!”. Passionate fans of BGT then began to voice their support for the act on Twitter. Among the various reactions were sentiments like: “I would like Bobby Goldfin to win please #BGT #BritainsGotTalent”, “BOBBY GOLDFIN YOU ARE MY WINNER #BGT”, and “We need more Bobby goldfinn! #BGT #bobbygoldfinn #BritainsGotTalent.” In another corner of BGT fandom, discussions were brewing online about the true identity of the person behind Bobby Goldfinn. Fans were quick to formulate theories and sharing them, with comments such as: “I think Bobby the Goldfish is someone who previously appeared on the show. #bgt”, “UNMASK BOBBY GOLDFINN #BGT”, and “Who is Bobby Godfinn #BGT.”Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
