Privacy NoticeBritain’s Got Talent’s last live semi-finals seemed to come to an abrupt stop in the middle of broadcast on Friday, 31 May. The Dark Hero act took the opportunity to speak directly to the camera, while being spoke to by hosts Ant and Dec. The act, who sung Frozen’s Let It Go while dressed as Batman, addressed the audience and said: “My heart goes to the people of Ukraine tonight.” Sensing chaos, Ant and Dec quickly began to clap and said a brief “thank you”, before The Dark Hero could say anything else. The act, who is reported to be from Ukraine, received positive feedback from the judges after his performance. Not much is known about the mysterious character, but reports suggest he comes from Ukraine and is now based in London.

Despite impressing audience and the judges, The Dark Night didn’t make it through the final, with comedian Alex Mitchell and magician Trixy bagging the two final spots. Alex, who has autism and Tourette’s, left the judges in hysterics with his stand up routine. It was between Trixy and Denise and Stefan, a blind couple who sing and play the piano respectively, for the last space in the final. As it went to the judges vote, Bruno chose to save Denise and Stefan, before Alesha then opted for Trixy to balance out the vote.

Both Amanda and Simon opted to save Trixy after the magician wowed them with a trick which seen them add together numbers picked by the judges to equal the exact date and time of his performance. In the same show, Alisha Dixon took to the stage to perform a medley of her biggest hits over the years, including her tracks with Mis-Teeq. However viewers have theories that the performance was pre-recorded. Taking to X, one fan noticed: “And for my next trick…. The ‘LIVE’ sign has reappeared. I love how Alesha is missing from the judges panel even though she pre-recorded her act before the show began this evening.”

While a second added: “AS IF THEY MADE ALESHA LEAVE TO PRETEND IT WAS LIVE LMAO. Also look the LIVE logo is back. #britainsgottalent.” A third added: “Why are they still pretending that alesha’s performance was live #bgt #britainsgottalent,” with a fourth writing: “So obviously Aleshas performance was pre-recorded. And now she’s just hanging off stage while they talk to the judges, like it was live.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
