Faye announced her engagement to theatre actor Iwan Lewis back in January and they are now going to make the ultimate commitment after just ten months together. “They’re tying the knot today in the Cotswolds,” The Sun reports. “It’s a traditional church wedding, then a huge reception at a posh venue nearby – then they’re staying at a spa for the night.” Bride Faye, 35, has not shared any pictures, but she posted a snap of a love quote about soulmates on her Instagram stories last night. On 11 August, Faye shared an inside look at the process of planning her dream wedding.

The soap star shared a series of clips and photos showing her dress fitting, what looks like her table settings and a couple of mood boards, so it’s clear that preparations for the big day have been well underway for a while now. Under the montage, Faye thanked all of her vendors and wrote: “What a team! Can’t wait for you to see what they’ve designed for our wedding day. Unbelievably grateful.” She also paid tribute to her beau, who she called her “best friend”, adding that she’s “thankful” to be doing all this with him. Faye met Iwan, 34, when they were both cast in the West End theatre production of Legally Blonde all the way back in 2012.

Faye played the lead, sassy blonde lawyer Elle Woods, while Iwan appropriately stepped into the role of her love interest and eventual husband Emmett. The pair became friends, but didn’t realise that they had a romantic spark until November 2022, when they decided to try dating. Things moved quickly and Iwan got down on one knee after just three months of dating on New Year’s Eve 2022. At the time, Faye told OK! that she “never thought she would get” her “happy ending” but “it turned out to be the guy who was there the whole time!” She did admit that she had an inkling of what was about to happen, however, and that Iwan was forced to try and deflect her hunch by telling her that she needed to get ready to go to a local fireworks show.
