Privacy NoticeLove Island stars were out in force at a Captain Morgan event in London on Tuesday, 22 October. Captain Morgan and Pepsi MAX’s immersive pop-up, The Mixer, took over Shoreditch’s Kachette, blending a convenience store with a house party to celebrate the launch of the brand-new Captain Morgan premixed can with Pepsi MAX. Chris Taylor, Amber Gill, Ovie Soko, Joanna Chimonides, Kaz Kamwi, Dami Hope and Whitney Adebayo were just some of the famous faces at the event. Amber looked incredible in a black leather trench coat and heels, while Joanna showed off her toned stomach in a denim cut-out crop top with jeans, with her blonde hair down around her shoulders. Kaz stunned in a bright yellow top with baggy jeans and heels, while Ovie kept things casual in a denim jacket, green trousers and cap.

Guests entered the house party event through secret fridge doors located in the convenience store, where Jack Fowler – who was on the fourth series of Love Island – was DJ for the night. Chris’ night out comes amid his training for Dancing on Ice. Earlier this month, he was the tenth celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of the hit ITV show. He said: “I’m somewhere between absolutely terrified and very excited and I keep flitting between the two quite aggressively throughout the day. I’ve not even started stretching yet, I need to. I can skate but my dad got the snakehips, unfortunately I didn’t inherit that genetically from him.”

Also taking part in the ITV skating show, which returns to our screens in January, are Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey and wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan, Sir Steve Redgrave, comedian Josh Jones, former footballer Anton Ferdinand, former EastEnders star Charlie Brooks, reality stars Mollie Pearce and Ferne McCann, and Coronation Street actor Sam Aston. In 2023, 34-year-old Chris made a cameo appearance as Ken Emcee in the Greta Gerwig film, Barbie, after striking up conversation with its star Margot Robbie at a party.
