We’ve had a look inside the Anthropologie advent calendar (Image: Laura Mulley)I’ve been testing beauty advent calendars for the past month, and while many have caught my eye – including offerings from Charlotte Tilbury, LookFantastic and L’Occitane – one has recently stood out: the 2024 Anthropologie Beauty Advent Calendar. Anthropologie is a brand I adore for its chic fashion, furniture and homeware, but I confess, I hadn’t given much thought to its beauty range until I laid eyes on this year’s beauty advent calendar. Priced at £88 but boasting contents worth over £300, it’s one of the few calendars under £100, and I was genuinely impressed with what was inside; it features a host of products that I believe you won’t find elsewhere. The 2024 Anthropologie Beauty Advent Calendar, £88 from Anthropologie (worth over £300) Pros Under £100 Beautifully illustrated design Contains products you’re unlikely to find in other calendars A good mix of skincare, make-up, body care, etc Cons No full size products Inner boxes are tricky to put back in place if you’re hoping to reuse it Not loads of high-end brands inside The packaging The design of Anthropologie’s 2024 beauty advent calendar is fairly standard, with the front opening like a book to reveal 24 neatly stacked numbered boxes, reports the Mirror. However, it’s the beautiful decoration that sets it apart, featuring a colourful storefront illustration on the front and quirky doodles on the boxes inside. If handled carefully, this calendar could potentially be refilled and reused, although reassembling the Tetris-like formation of the boxes can be a bit tricky, especially if you’re keeping it upright. The contents This beauty advent calendar really stands out due to the unique brands and products it contains, many of which you won’t find in other calendars. It’s perfect for those who love discovering new brands or trying out products that aren’t already in their bathroom cabinet. The full list of contents can be found here, but personal highlights include Oskia Super R and Super C Duo (perfect for travelling), Lanolips Lip Scrub Coconutter (smells amazing) and Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Clear Brow Gel (small but mighty). Of course, not every product will be a hit with everyone, but there’s a great variety.
Filled with some niche skincare brands

The value In terms of value, the calendar is priced at £88 but contains over £300 worth of products. This value-to-cost ratio is comparable to other beauty advent calendars in this price range, such as the Boots Limited Edition 24 Days of Beauty Christmas Advent Calendar. Considering Anthropologie’s typically higher prices, I think this calendar is quite reasonably priced. Overall, if you’re a fan of Anthropologie’s trendy, unique clothing and homeware, you’ll absolutely adore this advent calendar.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
