The lovebirds were spotted getting cosy in the Red Bar at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, partying until the early hours, as revealed exclusively by The Mirror. While rumours have been circulating for a while, now, Maura and Pete confirmed what everyone suspected with a kiss in a secluded corner, before Maura adorably kissed Pete on the nose followed by a full-on lip lock. Joining the ranks of celeb couples who’ve sparked flames at the event, like Christine and Frank Lampard who met there in 2009 and now share a beautiful family, Maura, 33, from Love Island fame, and TOWIE star Pete, 36, are officially an item. The pair, first caught kissing back in August outside Soho’s Broadwick hotel, have been playfully addressing the relationship buzz ever since Maura even rocked a T-shirt featuring the kiss pic with a cheeky caption: “We can’t be friends.”

OK! has contacted Pete and Maura’s representatives for a comment. Supporting Pete at his Staying Relevant podcast live recording with Sam Thompson at Hammersmith Apollo, Maura was all cheers. And with Pete strutting his stuff on Strictly Come Dancing, they even shared a TikTok video grooving together. Despite previously downplaying their connection, Maura and Pete’s affectionate display at the Pride of Britain ceremony speaks volumes about the heat in their budding romance.

Pete found himself in the hot seat when Olivia Attwood probed him about his love life, asking, “Your dating life. Maura Higgins.” To which Pete responded with a hint of mystery, “Me and Maura have known each other for a long time.” At the glitzy Pride of Britain bash, Maura turned to Strictly’s Kai Widdrington for some assistance with a pesky leg cramp as the party continued into the early hours in the hotel lobby. On the latest episode of Strictly, Pete and Jowita Przystal delivered a steamy rumba to ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’, complete with intimate face-to-face moments and daring lifts. Craig Revel Horwood didn’t hold back on their performance, branding the lifts “totally illegal” and mentioning that in a competition setting they could lead to “disqualification”. Despite this, he acknowledged the effort put into the routine, with the judges awarding them 22 points.
