Privacy NoticeBritain’s Got Talent star Tom Ball has revealed that he and wife Hannah are expecting their first child together after going through IVF. Former teacher turned singer Tom, 26, who shot to fame when he came third on the ITV show in 2022 before going on to appear on America’s Got Talent: All Stars the following year, tied the knot with Hannah in 2022. They’ve been trying to start a family together for years, and, after facing challenges with natural conception, they embarked on an IVF journey. Following a demanding 12 months, they’re thrilled to be 20 weeks into pregnancy. Hannah, who works as a paediatric nurse at the critical care unit in Brighton, said: “IVF has been a journey filled with challenges and moments of hope. It’s tested our strength, but knowing our tiny miracle is on its way makes it all worthwhile. We can’t wait to meet our little one!”

Tom added: “It sounds a bit corny but honestly BGT and AGT have truly changed our lives. Those experiences opened doors for me to travel the world, fulfil my dream of making my first album, and embark on exciting tours. A wonderful bonus is that these opportunities have also financially supported our journey to become parents, something we’ve dreamed of for years.” In an interview with MailOnline, Tom explained that they were told by NHS doctors that they would not be given IVF because their chances of conceiving were too low and it would “be a waste of tax payers’ money”. But after one round of privately funded IVF, they’re now eagerly awaiting the arrival of their little one, who is due in January.

He told the publication: “When the NHS told us that the chances of IVF working was so low that they didn’t think it was a good use of their money we were devastated. This really is our miracle baby – and I can’t stop saying it. We are both over the moon. It all just feels like one big miracle, our miracle baby, and I’m not taking any of it for granted. We are just so happy.” It’s certainly a busy time for the star. As well as preparing to become a first time dad, he’s also just announced the pre-order of his new album, Spotlight, as well as a huge 34-date UK tour next year. “This is going to be one hell of a year — our best yet. With the baby on the way, plus the new album and tour, I’m certainly going to be kept very busy!” he shared, while Hannah jokingly added: “I’m giving birth to our first child, and Tom’s ‘popping out’ a new album and tour!” Tickets are available locally, and for more information on the tour and album, visit www.officialtomball.com/spotlight.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
