Privacy NoticePete Wicks found himself in a bit of a sticky situation after trying to impress Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood with a temporary tattoo. The ex-TOWIE star sported a fake tat of Craig holding up a 10 score paddle on last Saturday’s show, a nod to the judge’s reputation for being stingy with top marks—he famously went almost a full series in 2015 without dishing out a perfect score. Craig, who prefers to save the 10 for “absolutely perfect” performances, told Best magazine: “Pete’s stick on tattoo with a picture of me giving a 10 was inspired. Although the score was certainly wishful thinking on his part.” He added: “The funny thing was, I bumped into him in the car park after the show and he was complaining he couldn’t remove my face – I’m sure it will come off in the show eventually. He is a good stick – really charming, funny, and down to earth.” Pete’s playful move didn’t quite pay off as he struggled to get the image off his chest, but it did earn a shoutout on Strictly’s official Instagram with the caption: “Technically this is the first 10 of #Strictly 2024”.

Fans went wild over Pete’s latest dance, with one commenting on how hilarious his new tattoo is and applauding both Pete and fellow contestant, comedian Chris McCausland: “Pete and Chris [McCausland] ARE Strictly 2024! ! ! and this tattoo was so funny,” reports Birmingham Live. Another was equally as enthused, saying: “This was brilliant! Fab dance too for Pete.” Pete and Jowita Przystal have certainly become fan favourites this series amidst whispers of a budding romance. However, the 30 year old professional insists they share a platonic connection and excellent teamwork.

In a chat with OK! magazine at the Pride of Britain Awards, Jowita gushed, “We have very good chemistry together as friends, we really get on well with each other, and we have so much fun together. And dancing is a bit like acting, so we’re telling a story every night on Saturday night, and I think we’re doing a pretty good job with that.” She further clarified: “But we’re very good friends, and I love him so much as a brother, and I think we’re going to stay friends for life, to be honest.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
