The Self-Care Collection from Elemis contains four popular skincare products designed to relax and calm (Image: Elemis)Elemis have partnered with mental health charity Mind to bring beauty shoppers a self-care inspired skincare set designed to transform your daily routine into a tranquil wellness ritual. The four-piece collection is £85 but worth £121 and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Mind. Inside The Self-Care Collection you’ll find a 50g Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, a full-size Superfood Facial Oil, a full-size Calming Face Spray and a travel bottle of the Frangipani Monoi Body Cream. The Superfood Facial Oil and the Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm would set you back £83 if you were to buy them individually from the Elemis website, so with the set you are essentially getting two products for free. Each formula in the Self-Care Collection products harness the restorative power of nature, featuring key ingredients such as Lavender, Chamomile, and Eucalyptus. Several of the products including the body cream and the cleansing balm also star in this year’s Elemis Beauty Advent Calendar. We did a full review of The Ultimate Skincare Advent Calendar here. It’s £199 but full of products worth £537. Users say that the smell is ‘not overpowering’ but ‘still strong enough to envelope you and your space’. It has been noted to ‘give it a good shake before spritzing’ or you may find that the product ‘comes out like a water pistol rather than a nice mist’.

You should then take an almond-sized amount of Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm and massage over the face, neck and décolleté with light circular movements. Either rinse off with water or remove with a cleansing cloth. This product is arguably one of Elemis’ most popular items as it gently dissolves makeup, impurities and daily pollutants to leave your complexion clean and glowing. Shoppers say it ‘reminds them of a spa’ and ‘gets rid of any traces of makeup’. However, it does not contain a towel unlike alternatives such as the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser that you can get from Boots. Follow this step up by applying three to four drops of the Superfood Facial Oil over your face and neck. It boasts nine antioxidant-rich superfoods to reveal a healthy-looking glow and is easily absorbed without feeling greasy. More than 1,800 people have given this product a five star rating on the Elemis website, garnering it 4.8 out of five. Shoppers say it ‘leaves skin feeling completely replenished’ and has an ‘earthy natural scent’ that may not be to everyone’s taste. Finish up with a coin-sized amount of Frangipani Monoi Body Cream. Infused with a conditioning combination of Macadamia, Sesame, Tahitian Monoi and Coprah oils, it’s little wonder users are so impressed with the ‘incredible hydration’ the product provides. The smell is loved by many, however some say it is ‘way too strong’. You can get the Elemis Self-Care Collection for £85 here or treat yourself to the Elemis 2024 Advent Calendar for £199 here. Elizabeth Arden also have a number of skincare sets that can save you money on luxury beauty. The Elizabeth Arden Plumping Hydration 4 -piece Set would make a lovely gift, priced at £83 but worth £124.
