Privacy Notice Jake Spivey arrived as one of the bombshells during the Casa Amor twist on Love Island, but the 25 year old electrician from Essex found himself dumped on Thursday 4 July after he failed to secure a place in the main villa. The Casa Amor twist had 12 new contestants mixing things up with the other Islanders in the hopes of securing a love match, but despite some flirting between Jake and Matilda, and then an attempt to get to know Jessy, Jake found himself alone and on the way to the airport by the end of the night. However, it seems Jake has no hard feelings about his brief time on Love Island. “It’s such a rare opportunity, so it’s incredibly exciting,” he said. “I would do the whole experience over again.”

As to his flirtation with Matilda, who ultimately went back to Sean, he added: “We definitely fancied each other and there was a connection there. She’s a great girl. Matilda is obviously a loyal girl and respected her situation with Sean. If I was with Matilda before Sean, I think we could have progressed things further.” “I think on the outside world if Matilda and Sean doesn’t work out, I think the book could still be open for us two.” Jake also chatted about his initial connection with Jess. “Jessy was giving good vibes and I felt as though she was the one leading it and instigating that connection rather than myself, which felt like a good sign,” he says.

However, Jake wasn’t surprised when Jess recoupled with Hugo, as Jake believes they had the best connection in Casa Amor. “They cracked on the first night, shared a bed, had the whole experience and it worked out very well for them both. Jake wasn’t the only one left packing his bags during the dramatic episode on Thursday as the intense Casa Amor instalment came to an end. After a tense recoupling around the firepit, with the girls returning to the main villa, seven bombshells in total were dumped after failing to find a connection. Casa Amor girls Lucy Graybill, Ruby Dale and Diamante Laiva, and boys Lionel Awundu, Moziah Pinder, Jake and Joel Kirby all failed to find new partners, and Joel summed up how they all were feeling about their time in Casa Amor. “Sad, but I’m excited for the future,” he said. “It was a great experience getting to know all of the girls and I feel like I’ve made some lifelong friends with the boys sharing this experience together.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
