Naturally, beauty buffs raced to the comments section to share their excitement at this new styling tool, with one fan writing: “This is not a want but a NEED.” Another added: “This looks amazing.” And shoppers who have already ready snapped up the device – despite it launching just days ago – seem to think so too with not a negative review in sight and 5 stars across the board. One happy customer declared: “I’m really happy with this hairdryer! I love the fact that it folds it makes it really convenient for storing. All the attachments are amazing! the diffuser is brilliant for curling my hair, I love the flyaway smoother and the fact the brush attachment makes it easier than using my regular brush. The drying time is so fast, my hair is thick and usually takes ages to dry but with this hairdryer it cuts my drying time by half, so convenient for myself who leads a busy life, styling my hair has become so much easier! I highly recommend this dryer you won’t be disappointed.” Another was “shocked” at how fast it dried her “thick hair” – thanks to it 0-100mph high velocity airflow – and said: “I’ve used the fizz fighter mostly and also used the quick smooth brush, I have thick hair and shocked how quickly my hair dried, I’m very impressed with this also great features of controlling the heat and speed. The frizz fighter tool is fantastic I had no strands of hair sticking up, my hair looked like I had straightened it, excellent hairdryer makes drying and styling my hair so much easier and quicker.”
The hair dryer also comes with four styling attachments that makes styling ‘so much easier’

A third raved: “Firstly I love this product it’s so lightweight I love how it’s easily manoeuvre-able the attachments are great and really do make a difference especially the shine attachment. I have curly hair and I highly recommend this product so easy to tame.” “I was truly amazed with this product,” remarked one shopper who said: “The speed of the dryer is amazing and does not leave hair brittle or dry. The 4 attachments do exactly as they say , hair is left shiny, glossy and sleek. The rounded brush attachment means you can perfect the bouncy blow you get in a hairdressers in the comfort of your own home. “The hairdryer itself is small and sleek so it’s easy to take with you if needed. Attachments are easy to fit also. I would highly recommend the Speedstyle , each attachment is considered so that it can be used on any hair type to create a variety of styles, from straight to curly , having salon looking hair all day . Scalp shied is activated to adjust temperature to protect head from heat.” As mentioned before, shoppers have yet to experience – and report back on – any snags or flaws with this product. But if you’re not too sure, there are a few alternatives that we rate highly. The BaByliss Air Power Pro is loved by our own Laura Mulley who said: “This design is light and easy to hold, great for travel, and gets right into the hair’s roots. The attachments click easily on, and the buttons are intuitive to use and thoughtfully positioned. What most impressed me, though, is the power of the air emitted from such a small tool. “My hair is long, thick and holds onto water, and it usually takes a good 10 minutes with my old favourite ghd Helios hair dryer to get my lengths completely dry – but the BaByliss Air Power Pro halved that. I think it’s the most powerful hair dryer I’ve ever used, blasting into the roots (using the styling nozzles does reduce the force somewhat though). “Because it does such a good job at drying hair with its powerful air rather than heat, it doesn’t feel as hot on the hair or head as some hair dryers – certainly no singed scalps here.” Alternatively, Dyson’s Supersonic dryer is currently on sale for £259.99 down from £359.99, here.
