The Super Healthy Skin Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream V 2.0 is a hit with celebrity makeup artists too Holly Willoughby’s makeup artist revealed that she used a £29 moisturiser on the former This Morning host as she attended the star-studded National Television Awards earlier this month. Always intrigued by celeb-approved products, I decided to give it a try and see if it’s as good as everyone says. The anti-ageing cream is a formula upgrade on the best selling Super Healthy Skin Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream , which launched in 2017. But this brand new moisturiser is packed with additional skin-loving ingredients which puts it a cut above its predecessor. Designed to boost radiance and even skin tone, the cream now contains 3% Vitamin C Complex and Niacinamide, which works to brighten and restore the skin barrier. Meanwhile, O-LIFT Complex helps skin appear smoother, firmer, and lifted, with grape stem cells being rich in antioxidants, The Mirror reports. From trial findings, the product is clinically proven to immediately boost skin hydration, while increasing firmness and elasticity, as well as reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in four weeks. The cream is so good, that Holly Willoughby ’s makeup artist, Patsy O’Neill, used it as the base for the star’s glowy makeup look at the National Television Awards last weekend. In a recent Instagram post, Patsy announced to her 54.8K followers that she and her team got to use the new Super Healthy Skin Ultimate Anti-Aging Vitamin Cream V2.0 which was ‘a great base to start with’.
The moisturiser is usually £115, but shoppers can get it for under £30 when they become a Beauty Pie member. That’s because Beauty Pie is a subscription service that offers major discounts on its products for customers. People can pay £10 per month, which gives them access to heavily discounted cosmetics and skincare items. Their products are made in a leading Swiss skincare lab, known to make formulas for many high-end skincare brands, though it’s not confirmed which brands, exactly. As a beauty writer, I’ve tried dozens – if not hundreds – of different moisturisers over the last decade. And I have to say, this one seriously impressed me.
Beauty writer Bethan Shufflebotham tested it out and said it’s ‘addictive’
As someone who swears by Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream but winces at the price tag, I absolutely loved Beauty Pie’s new anti-aging cream and immediately drew comparisons due to its similar texture and consistency. While 50ml of Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream is £79 , the Super Healthy Skin Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream V 2.0 is £29 with the subscription. The texture is rich and creamy, but it absorbs quickly without feeling greasy, making it an ideal base for makeup. My foundation glided on effortlessly, and despite not wearing any highlighter on my cheeks, there was a noticeable and radiant glow that completed my makeup beautifully.
The Beauty Pie formula has a similar consistency to Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream
As well as being a great skincare prep product, it’s a great night moisturiser thanks to its thicker consistency. I usually like to mix and match my day and night skincare, but have found the Beauty Pie cream to be incredibly addictive to use. After a few days of use, my skin felt noticeably softer, more hydrated, with the niacinamide and vitamin C giving my complexion a more even tone with a healthy glow. Another thing I love about this moisturiser is that it’s suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. My skin can be reactive, but I had no irritation, redness, or breakouts, which is always a win in my book. And I’m not the only one who loves it, as the vitamin-enriched cream has also been gaining quite a rapport over on Beauty Pie’s website since the launch. One skincare fan said: “Really pleased to have a more streamline approach to my skin care. This cream is so soft I’ve only been using for 2 days and already feel a difference to my skin. 100% will be buying again.” A bridal makeup artist added: “I really love the original Super Healthy Skin Moisturiser and it’s a staple in my kit as a bridal makeup artist, I use it on most clients. So I was so excited to try out the new Super Healthy Skin 2.0 ! On first impressions, it smells lovely, but not in an overpowering way. It feels light on application but nourishing on my dry skin. I’ve been using it every morning for the past week and do feel like my skin feels brighter and more supple. Looking forward to seeing the results after 4 weeks!”

However, some have found it to be on the rich side, commenting: “Would have preferred the texture to be a bit lighter but good value for the ingredients.” In recent months I’ve interviewed a number of celebrities who also love Beauty Pie’s products. Anna Williamson says filming Celebs Go Dating takes its toll on her skin, so she relies on Beauty Pie’s Miracle Overnight Face Oil to keep it hydrated. Meanwhile, This Morning’s Queen of Clean, Lynsey Crombie said she ‘can’t be without’ the brands’ Über Youth Neck & Chest Super Lift Serum-Spray or their Super Healthy Skin Featherlight UVA/UVB SPF 50 Sunscreen + Primer .
