Beauty Advent Calendar, £68 from L’Occitane (worth £129.50) The packaging The packaging of the 2024 calendar is a twist on traditional festive colours, designed like a suitcase with a slide-off outer casing. Inside, you’ll find a beautiful red and purple ‘Toie de Jouy’ printed box with numbered cardboard doors to open, just like a classic chocolate calendar. The calendar is in keeping with L’Occitane’s trademark ‘French heritage’ style and looks incredibly luxurious. While this box isn’t reusable (opt for L’Occitane’s adorable fabric advent calendar if that’s a priority), it can be easily flattened for recycling, and its simpler packaging is reflected in the £68 price tag, reports the Mirror. The contents Inside, you’ll find a few skincare items, including the popular Immortelle Divine Cream, as well as shampoo and conditioner. However, the focus is on bath and body care, with indulgent goodies like shower creams, soaps and body lotions from some of L’Occitane’s top-selling and most fragrant ranges. I was delighted to discover a 35ml bottle of Almond Shower Oil – my go-to shower product and a regular on my Christmas wish list – and the four travel-sized hand creams will certainly come in handy during the winter months. A few items were less thrilling – I personally don’t use foot balm or solid soap bars – and I would have liked to see at least one slightly larger item (everything is 50ml or less). But overall, it’s a wonderful way to sample the best of L’Occitane’s offerings. The value The L’Occitane Beauty Advent Calendar, priced at £68 but worth £129.50, offers a saving of £61.50 compared to buying the products individually. While it’s not the biggest value-to-cost ratio we’ve seen (Cult Beauty’s calendar costs £235 but is worth an impressive £1,100), it’s one of the more affordable options this year, with few calendars costing under £100. Plus, the products inside are top-notch. I was also seriously impressed by the Charlotte Tilbury 2024 advent calendar – you can check out my full review here.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
