Privacy Notice Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been calling Montecito, California home for a few years, ever since they took a step back from being ‘senior’ members of the Royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex currently reside in a lavish £11 million mansion with their two children Archie and Lilibet and have pulled out the stops to ensure their family home is perfect. They previously shared a glimpse inside their house when filming for a Spotify event which showed off its elegant yet rustic beauty and very chic furnishings. However, the outside of the house is as lavish as the inside with the couple boasting an enormous pool on the grounds.

The house has reportedly been listed on the rental platform Giggster for people to hire out for shoots and events. The pool is flanked by hedges to ensure maximum privacy and features sun loungers and umbrellas on either side. The listing gave royal fans a chance to see their outdoor space in all its glory – though these were before the royal couple moved in. Earlier this year Prince Harry, 37, spoke about how much he feels at home in California.

He sat down with US news anchor Hoda Kotb from the Today Show as he discussed his attachment to the States now after living there for over a year with his wife and children. Harry’s interview was filmed during his time over in The Hague, Netherlands and it appeared he was quite candid as he spoke about the personal changes in his life after moving with his family across the pond. The Royal mentioned how he felt he had been welcomed warmly in the US and shared his happiness living there compared to the UK. “Home for me now, for the time being, is in the States and it feels that way as well. We’ve been welcomed with open arms and we have such a great community up in Santa Barbara,” Harry said.

Prince Harry and Meghan did come back to the UK for the first time since leaving for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier in June. However it was reported he was “furious” and feels he is owed an apology after he was “largely ignored” at the celebrations, a royal expert had claimed. According to royal biographer Angela Levin, who spent a year with Harry writing a biography on him, the prince will be “absolutely furious”. She told The Sun: “I think he would have been very, very upset that he was largely ignored. He still feels he’s owed an apology. “But he’s the one who should apologise. He said during the Oprah interview that Charles and William were trapped, he said he’d been cut off by his father. “You can’t just go around being rude about people and expecting them to open their hearts to you again.” For all the latest Royal news and gossip, sign up to our daily newsletter here.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
