Privacy Notice Olivia Bowen has given fans a glimpse inside her son’s nursery, after welcoming her first child, Abel Jacob, with her husband Alex earlier this month. The 28 year old former Love Island star, who recently called her first outing as a mum “very scary”, took to Instagram to show off the little one’s incredible room. With work on the nursery beginning soon after the couple announced that they were expecting, the room at the pair’s sprawling Essex mansion has been months in the making. But after showcasing the final results, it’s clear that all the hard work has been worth it as baby Abel Jacob now has a stunning gender neutral nursery.

Given that Olivia and Alex chose not to know the gender of their baby during Olivia’s pregnancy, the couple have opted for a beige and cream colour scheme. The space features wood flooring, light walls as well as a gorgeous animal mural that features illustrations of giraffes and palm trees. In keeping with this wildlife theme, the ceiling is decorated to look like the sky and boasts similar illustrations of birds, butterflies and clouds.

One wall also features a mini elephant shaped bookshelf, with similar designs costing around £320.

All the furniture in the room is a light oak with white detailing, making it perfect for the neutral tones. Olivia revealed that she’d got her minimalistic cot, dresser and wardrobe from Silver Cross. Taking to their home Instagram account to post more details, the Bowens revealed that: “His nursery waiting for him when he’s ready. “It’s been so nice to have this in the background, I’ve loved absolutely every minute of it & the final finishing touches of the nursery furniture arrived.”

But they explained that the room is still missing some final tweaks, and added: “I still need to move the mobile over his crib as the original layout we planned just didn’t work so I had to amend slightly but I just love it so much.” Fans of the popular couple were quick to express their love for the room in the comments section of the post. “I am doing safari theme for my nursery! Love the giant giraffe [heart eye emoji] I’m having issues finding one!!,” wrote one. “What a gorgeous nursery! Congratulations to you both,” wrote another.
