Another eager viewer predicted: “No matter what it is, Nicole will 10000% be crying this Sunday on Movie Night.” The much-awaited Movie Night tradition unveils footage of Islanders’ interactions during the Casa Amor relationship test, generally a few episodes in. In an exciting twist, however, the power heads at Love Island have chosen to deliver this challenge earlier to treat an impressive audience of 3.4 million viewers. The 2021 segment sparked such a fierce argument that it bagged itself the title of Ofcom’s most complained-about moment of the year.
Wil’s antics could be the star of movie night
Those who followed last season keenly will recall Faye Winter’s unforgettable verbal assault on her partner Teddy Soares over a clip which ironically turned out to demonstrate his faithfulness – causing her to explode. The villa has recently been full of heated arguments after Casa Amor took place. Diamante Laiva has thrown shade at fellow contestant Sean, suggesting he might not be ‘as genuine as we all thought’ following the dramatic Casa Amor twist.

In an explosive episode of the ITV dating sensation, host Maya Jama returned to the villa to see if the original islanders would stick with their partners or recouple with one of the bombshells they met in Casa Amor. Tensions soared as Matilda and Diamante had a fiery confrontation. Diamante, who had grown close to Sean during their time in Casa Amor, even sharing a passionate kiss, was left stunned when Sean chose to remain with Matilda. The Love Islanders continued to face the fallout of their decisions following Casa Amor.

In tonight’s episode (Friday 5 July) Uma Jammeh in particular had a hard time forgiving Wil Anderson for getting to know some of the new bombshells while she was away at Casa.
