Privacy NoticeDavid and Victoria Beckham have reportedly built outside toilets on the grounds of their £6million Cotswold mansion. The couple are said to have built the al-fresco facilities to save their party guests from hiking all the way back inside the house to use the bathroom. A friend told The Sun: “David and Victoria love holding parties near their lake but it became tiring having to traipse back and forth to the house to use the loo when the drinks were flowing.” The former England captain, 47, and Spice Girl, 48, purchased their home in 2017. They’ve since made loads of renovations on the property, which is set in the heart of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire – just a stone’s throw away from exclusive members club Soho Farmhouse and near celeb neighbours Jeremy Clarkson and Blur’s Alex James.

The countryside home boasts a swimming pool, football pitch and four-foot deep lake and is surrounded by spacious green fields which are home to David’s numerous beehives. Like most people, the dad-of-four took up a new hobby during lockdown and shared a video of him hammering on pieces of wood to make the hives.

David also made sure to include his children and previously shared a snap of him with sons Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17, as well as 10 year old daughter Harper all dressed in matching beekeeping outfits. Inside the sprawling home, the gorgeous living room has a rustic feel with exposed brick walls, high ceilings and large windows overlooking the enormous garden.

Yet, the couple have still made it very glamorous, as they decorated the room with a statement dark green glass cabinet, Persian-style carpets and a stunning sparkly chandelier hanging above the long dining table. Lots of cosy details have been mixed in too with huge thick wool blankets tossed over the sofas and a toasty fireplace in the corner.

The couple haven’t skimped out either, splashing the cash on a top of the range chic black AGA oven to keep the house toasty. Downstairs, they have their own giant wine cellar and an in-house spa, complete with a sauna.

Away from the idyllic home, David and Victoria own another extravagant £31million mansion in Holland Park, London. When they’re not in the UK, they spend time in the £19million penthouse apartment in Miami and most recently got themselves a £5million superyacht.
