The L’Oreal serum is now just £10 in the sale, saving over two thirds on the price (Image: Bethan Shufflebotham)Boots customers can bag a bargain on an anti-ageing serum that promises ‘plump, fresh and flawless’ skin in a one-day flash sale. The L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Pure Retinol Deep Anti-Wrinkle Night Serum, usually retailing at £31.99, is now just £10 as part of the health and beauty retailer’s weekly £10 Tuesday deal. If you miss this £10 deal, you can also find the L’Oreal buy on Amazon for £10 for a limited time. The popular night serum boasts L’Oreal’s highest concentration of vitamin A, also known as retinol, a powerful ingredient famous for visibly reducing even deep wrinkles. In fact, it’s so effective that studies showed 77% of women noticed a reduction in the appearance of deep wrinkles. Designed for evening use, this night serum has shoppers raving about its ‘tightening’ effect, with some saying its results are mistaken for Botox. It also features macro hyaluronic acid, which reviews say helps leave the skin ‘plumped’ and ‘younger looking’. As it contains a high concentration of retinol, it’s always recommended to wear SPF the following day to protect your skin from damage caused by UV rays, reports the Mirror. The potent serum has earned a 4.4 star rating on the Boots website based on more than 800 reviews.

One satisfied customer said of the serum: “This is a great product! Used this for 3 months and reduced fine lines tightened my skin reduced my big forehead wrinkles and was asked if I had had Botox! So this is a definite thumbs up for me! Totally recommend!” Another satisfied customer shared, “I’ve been using this for two weeks. Initially, it felt quite strong on my skin, but now it’s OK. There’s a definite improvement in my overall skin, and my wrinkles look slightly softer. I’m excited to see what happens in the next few weeks.” “Since using this serum I’ve had several comments on how fresh my skin’s looking,” said another beauty lover. “It certainly has worked so far as the outer layer is concerned and fine lines do seem to have diminished. I’ve not completed the 4 months yet to see how and if it will work on deep lines. I think that’s expecting too much of a miracle at my age but i would definitely recommend to younger people thinking to start using it before the real deep lines set in.” And a fourth fan wrote, “Left my skin plump, fresh and flawless. Not a wrinkle in sight.” However, despite the great reviews, some folks have bumped into issues with the serum. Since retinol can be intense, introducing it gradually is key to let your skin get used to the high-powered ingredient. A user noted, “I have been using this for a month and have followed instructions but I have had to stop using it as my face started to peel and became very red and it tingles when applying the product.” Another retinol product that’s a hit with beauty buffs is the No7 Pure Retinol 0.3% Retinol Night Concentrate, priced at £34.95. This Morning’s beauty guru Nadine Baggott even labelled it as ‘perfect for beginners’. But if you’re already a retinol devotee, why not level up to a retinal? Nadine suggests the Medik8 Crystal Retinal for anyone noticing the ‘first signs of ageing’, stating it’s ideal for those experiencing perimenopausal skin around the age of 45+.
