Privacy NoticeIn her Amazon Prime documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, Jennifer Lopez gives fans a sneak peek into her life with hubby Ben Affleck. She shares how his love letters inspired her latest album and even shows off their £47 million Los Angeles mansion that they bought last May. Some rooms in the house made an appearance in the documentary as Jennifer planned her film, This Is Me…Now: A Love Story. The film features scenes from what appears to be an office in their home, complete with a dark green crushed velvet couch and a bookshelf filled with books, photos, and Ben’s two Academy Awards.

One touching detail is a large framed photo of the couple on their wedding day, showing them in a loving embrace, which can be seen leaning against the bookshelf. In another snap, J-Lo is seen lounging on a sofa while director Dave Meyers sits comfortably in a light brown leather chair. A chic white marble coffee table takes centre stage in the room, with a dark green bookshelf tucked away in the corner.

Leaning against this bookshelf is a large black and white photo of a street sign, cleverly labelled “Lopez” and “Affleck,” with 2022 – the year they tied the knot – displayed on a smaller sign. The couple’s love for photos is evident, as their living room features a black table adorned with various pictures of different shapes and sizes, including a precious snap from their wedding day. Jennifer recently opened up on reuniting with husband Ben 20 years after their split, describing it as “more mind-blowing than the first time round”. Their romance was rekindled after the superstar couple went their separate ways and embarked on other high-profile marriages.

“I’m a hopeless romantic,” she laughed. Jennifer and Ben’s great love story began in 2002 when they met on the set of movie romcom Gigli. J.Lo was still married to her second husband, Cris Judd, at the time but by their divorce the following year, the newly christened “Bennifer” were official; the pair were soon engaged, with Jen sporting a six-carat pink diamond solitaire ring. At the time, she wrote a song, Dear Ben, for her now-husband, telling the press, “I really felt like when I met Ben, ‘Okay, this is it.’” And there were clues about the intensity of their relationship as she sang, “You’re perfect. I just can’t control myself, I can’t be with no one else. I write this song to let you know that you will always be to me my lust, my love, my man, my child, my friend and my king.” But the romance hit the rocks in 2004, with the couple citing intense media attention as one of the reasons for their difficulties. Now, with the launch of her new album and an accompanying “cinematic experience” movie that gives an insider view of her eventful love life, J.Lo is almost incredulous that fate should have brought them back together. “This Is Me… Now captured that moment when I really wasn’t sure I would find this kind of love again,” she says, remembering their on-off relationship timeline. Then it did happen again and it’s even more mind-blowing and better than it ever was the first time around.” J-Lo’s The Greatest Love Story Never Told is now available to stream on Amazon Prime.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
