Privacy NoticeIbiza may be known for attracting party-loving Brits and nocturnal raves, but OK! managed to find the perfect blend of excitement and luxury during our visit to The White Isle. We headed to the epicentre of wild nights, San Antonio – which houses a vibrant strip, eclectic bars and Wayne Lineker’s famous O Beach. However, the municipality also has a number of hidden foodie gems and relaxing beaches just a short drive from world-famous super-clubs.

Ibiza’s most Instagrammable hotel Tucked away from the busy San Antonio strip and looking over the crisp ocean is Wi-Ki-Woo Hotel, a residence known for being perhaps the island’s most photogenic hotel. Living up to its reputation, this boutique hotel will have anyone feeling like an influencer – with a photo opportunity at every turn. Bringing a pop of colour to a quiet corner of San Antonio, the bright pink hotel is hard to miss, with an art-deco style making you feel as though you’ve been transported to Miami Beach. Famous amongst stars from shows such as Love Island and TOWIE, Wi-Ki-Woo is small but mighty, with a multi-coloured disco lift taking you to your suite in true Ibiza style. The spacious rooms carry on the pastel theme seen throughout the hotel, with a mini-kitchen area completing the open-plan suites. The ocean-facing rooms mean we had stunning views, however our balcony also looked over the Wi-Ki-Woo bar and restaurant – so make sure to close your curtains when diners are downstairs! With heart-shaped inflatables, gold statues and Love-Island style day beds, the Wi-Ki-Woo pool is the perfect place to relax. With a minimal amount of beds, which must be booked, this isn’t the kind of place you’ll find sun bed wars or crowds. Cocktails and food is delivered straight to your sun bed, and the frozen daiquiri taste a little too good.

Where to eat Ibiza may not be known as a foodie destination, but the island is bursting with tasty cuisine. We kicked off our trip with one of San Antonio’s newest food hotspots, Chi Kee Wan. The modern Chinese restaurant is set in a stunning oriental garden, with circular booths and tables sitting underneath hanging floral arrangements. The al fresco dining experience begins with a complimentary cocktail, while the menu then features Chinese staples such as sweet and sour dishes alongside more sophisticated choices. A personal favourite eatery was La Tapas, a traditional Spanish spot nestled away in the back roads of San Antonio. A short walk from the beachfront, this spot is located just off of a main road, and hidden from the tourist hotspots. Despite appearing silent from afar, this tapas haven is bustling when you arrive, with an indoor and al fresco area to eat. Sharing is definitely the way to go when eating here, with the staff advising around three dishes per person. If you’re heading to Ibiza Town, London hotspot STK has made it all the way to Ibiza, with the steakhouse a short drive from the main town. Famously popular amongst celebrities, this hotspot takes dinner and a show to a new level with cabaret, singing and dancing all taking place on a stage in the middle of the restaurant. Just watch your head if, like me, you’re sat directly beside the catwalk stage…

Fun in the sun Home to a number of famous super-clubs, deep house runs through The White Isle, meaning there are plenty of places to let your hair down. Voted as the world’s number one club, Hi Ibiza is iconic for welcoming top-class DJs such as David Guetta, Eric Prydz and Patrick Topping. It’s no surprise that the club is regarded so highly, with performers often using mesmerising light shows to transport you. It even boasts a secret bathroom dubbed the ‘wild corner’, which has a DJ booth in the centre of the toilets cubicles. With headline acts often beginning their performances upwards of 2am, you’ll need to arrive well-rested for a night at Hi. If you’re not sure you’ll manage the late night or want to party all day and night, across the road from Hi is Ushuaia. We headed to the outdoor venue to watch Calvin Harris, who certainly got the crowd going on the open-air dance floor. With a pool housed in the centre of the dance-floor, flights passing by the stage to land at the nearby airport and fireworks going off into the sky, Ushuaia is an unmissable visit in Ibiza.

Away from the clubbing culture, we headed for a day out in Ibiza Town for some more relaxed fun. With cobbled streets and a harbour home to some serious super yachts, the town is perfect for a relaxing wander and some good food. There are also a number of stunning beaches across the island, with golden sands running across San Antonio. Beach clubs are scattered across the island too, with O Beach a favourite amongst British tourists. Despite its popular reputation, O Beach is one of the more reasonably priced venues when it comes to food and drinks, with a sushi bar and sharing platters delivered to your sun bed.
