It’s not the first time the couple have jetted away in 2024, having visited Santorini in Greece to celebrate their first anniversary earlier this year. Speaking exclusively to OK! a year on from meeting, Roger spilled the beans on their off-screen relationship. He said: “It’s been a whirlwind. I think back to those first couple of days on the show – then Janey came in and everything changed for the better.” Janey added: “It’s gone by so quickly. We had about four months together before the show aired, when no one knew about us. Now everything feels so natural.”

Sharing their highlights from their first year together, Janey said: “I just love having a boyfriend. I get to share things with someone and that’s what I’ve always wanted. It’s taken me a while to get used to it but we’re a team now. “Roger will say, ‘You’re not on your own any more,’ but I was so independent, I struggled to ask for help.” Roger added: “It’s hard to narrow it down but I loved the weekend we spent in the Cotswolds with all the kids. That was brilliant and brought everyone closer together.”

The series Roger and Janey rose to fame on is set to return later this year

Roger, 59, and Janey, 48, first met on My Mum Your Dad and since then have been on various holidays, appeared on This Morning and are often sharing loved-up snaps on social media of their adorable dates. The show, dubbed the “middle-aged Love Island” is set to return this year with a new group of parents, who have been nominated by their kids in the hope of finding love. While it didn’t confirm an exact date, we know that the show will return in September 2024 – that’s just two months away. The show’s debut kicked off on Monday, 11 September last year so it’s expected that its second 2024 could return at a similar time, and it could be as soon as Monday, 9 September.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
