Privacy NoticeFans of The One Show will have to miss out on their favourite programme on Wednesday, July 10, as it’s been axed from the evening’s schedule. This isn’t the first time viewers have had to go without, just last week the show was dropped for five days straight due to Wimbledon taking over the channel. The One Show has seen a fair few shake-ups recently, with the BBC clearing its timetable for not just the tennis, but also the election and Euros 2024 coverage. On Wednesday, Wimbledon is set to dominate BBC Two, while BBC One will be serving up The Bidding Room at 7pm, followed by EastEnders at 7:30pm. This latest schedule change follows a recent switch-up in presenters, with Lauren Laverne and Vernon Kay stepping in for regulars Alex Jones, Jermaine Jenas, and Roman Kemp this week. With Jermaine off in Germany for the Euros and Alex busy moving house, it’s all change on the presenting front, reports Wales Online. Wrapping up the show, Lauren expressed gratitude to the evening’s guests. She said: “That’s all we’ve got time for tonight, thank you so much to our guests,” after chatting with Daisy Edgar Jones, Glen Powell, and Anthony Ramos, the stars of the new blockbuster Twisters, and Alan Carr, who popped by to talk about the comeback of the classic eighties sitcom Changing Ends. Vernon Kay then revealed: “We’re not on air tomorrow but good luck to England. Alex and Roman will be here on Thursday and will be joined by Jenna Coleman, Hugh Jackman, and Ryan Reynolds. Have a great evening we’ll see you next time.” Catch the next episode of The One Show on Thursday, July 10 at 7pm.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
