Privacy NoticeTears flowed in the Love Island villa tonight as two islanders were dramatically dumped. Konnor Ewudzi and Lolly Hart have both lost their place on the island. After being voted the most popular couple by the public, Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies were tasked with making the difficult decision of choosing two islanders to leave. “We loved every single one of them but obviously we had to choose,” Nicole sobbed, before announcing that she and Ciaran were dumping Konnor and Lolly. Ciaran added: “This is definitely the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make whilst being in this villa.” Air hostess Lolly, 30, lasted less than a week in the villa after coming in as a bombshell last Thursday, 11 July. She enjoyed getting to know Joey Essex and Ciaran before finding a spark with Konnor. The pair opened up about their time in the villa with Lolly saying: “Leaving with Konnor is a highlight, what we had in the villa was really nice so leaving with him is a bonus. We are a new couple so I understand why Ciaran and Nicole made their decision.”

Describing his Love Island experience, Konnor said: “It was surreal and unlike what I expected but in a good way, it was so amazing that it’s hard to describe it.” Lolly also opened up about her hope to see Konnor outside of the villa, adding: “I felt that Konnor and I had a lot in common so I instantly felt it was easy to talk to him. We are both family people and have similar interests so naturally we’ve gotten closer. Although our journey was cut short, we will see each other at Aftersun on Sunday and will take it from there in terms of going on a date outside of the villa.”

Viewers were quick to take to social media to react to the dramatic dumping as one person said: “Konnor was such a sweet guy and I feel a bit bad for Lolly; she was only in there for a short amount of time #LoveIsland.” Another person added: “Konnor and Lolly deserved to stay in the villa. He’s tried so hard to find a connection and now he finally has, he’s been sent home! #LoveIsland.” A third chimed in: “Konnor and Lolly are dumped from the island #LoveIsland,” with heartbroken emojis, while another added: “Gutted for Konnor, such a genuinely good person.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
