So far, so romantic. But many couldn’t help notice the food on offer didn’t look quite as appetising as you might expect from such a high-end location. In fact, the 33-year-old Towie star and her boyfriend hadn’t touched it. The miniature lurid-yellow dish by their side prompted a series of comments. One follower boggled: “That pizza isn’t real though surely.” Another added: “That pizza dosent look real lol” and a third asked simply: Is that a fake pizza??”

Sam quickly cleared up the mystery, telling her followers the pizza belonged to their two-year-old son Edward, who was with them on the family trip to the sun, alongside their other children, son Paul Junior and daughter Rosie. She said to followers that she and Paul had been enjoying “kisses & Edwards delicious pizza for lunch” with one fan on hand to explain: “Edward is her youngest, he’s obviously made a fake pizza and given it to them.” But some fans had other issues on their mind, urging Paul to propose. Sam has never made any secret of the fact she wants to get married and insisted earlier this year that she wouldn’t be the one doing the asking. She said on her joint podcast with sister Billie: “No! No, the guy should do it and I will leave it as that.” Billie added: “I agree, come on Paul, we’re still waiting! We need a hen do to plan, we’ve had three children each we need a hen do.”

Fans commented on their Majorca snap: “When u gonna marry her?” and: “When is he going to propose??” Another wrote: “She is bursting for him to propose.
