Privacy NoticeITV has confirmed the date for Love Island’s 2024 final – and fans don’t have long to wait, with just a few weeks to go. It’s been a dramatic few weeks with love triangles emerging, contentious recouplings and shock dumpings, but the show is going to be crowning its new winners very soon. ITV has confirmed that the Love Island final is set to air on Monday 29 July. It will mark the end of the competition, which has spend the last seven weeks unfurling on ITV2. The final episode will be airing on ITV2, with Maya Jama back on presenting duty for the big show.

As per usual, the Love Island final will be slightly longer than the normal episodes, with the live episode starting at 9pm and finishing at 10:35pm on the Monday. ITV teased: “With a tasty £50k prize up for grabs, the game is well and truly on.” This series marked a Love Island first thanks to TOWIE’s Joey Essex entering the villa as a bombshell – becoming the first celebrity to take part in the show who doesn’t already have a connection to Love Island. Previous series have seen the likes of Kady McDermott, Adam Collard and Jessie Wynter enter the villa, with all three having previously appeared on a series of the show. Since making his Love Island debut, Joey has been causing drama, with the reality star letting slip to the other islanders that he was sent on a “secret mission” by Mimii Ngulube to get Ayo Odukoya to the terrace to meet her. Whilst playing a game, Joey was asked which couple are most likely to have their heads turned, with Joey whispering in Thursday night’s show: “I know something no one knows here.”

He adds: “Mimii, there’ve been a few situations that I’ve been involved with that probably people don’t know about. I was on a bit of a secret mission the other day.” Mimii later pulled Joey for a chat to tell him how disappointed she felt that he had revealed her antics to the group. Meanwhile, fans recently discovered bombshell Lola Deluca’s connection to former islander Harriett Blackmore. Unfortunately, the pair didn’t get the chance to appear on the show together, as Harriet and her partner Ronnie Vint were brutally dumped three weeks ago. However, she has shown her support on the outside through Instagram, as she took to her story to wish model and content creator Lola luck. She posted Lola’s picture to Instagram with the caption: “Go bby girl,” with three white love heart emojis.
