The fan-favourite duo have been delighting fans all week as stand-ins for the usual hosts, Cat Deeley, and Ben Shephard. In a cheeky switch to the Loose Women studio, Alison excitedly spilled the beans: “I’ll be back with you on Monday where I am going to be hosting alongside Joel Dommett.” Dermot playfully showed his shock, hiding his face, while Alison continued with a tease: “I am going to be taking you to the seaside with Phil Vickery.” With a warm grin, she reassured Dermot, “I am going to miss you.” The episode was nothing short of eventful as the pair took the show on an outdoor adventure, leading to some hilarious blunders. Alison was on the brink of letting a swear word slip, and Dermot casually wandered off set at one point, as noted by the Express.

Things got slightly awkward during a chat with guests Gyles Brandreth and Isla Traquair about office antics. Initiating the topic, Alison pointed out that a third of workers enjoy “taking time out” in the toilet. Confessing her own habits, she said, “I actually do this quite often,” before discussing a new survey that found that a third of employees sneak off to the loo for a quick respite.

“Oh yeah,” chimed in Dermot, as Alison elaborated: “You know when everyone is doing your head in, you go in the toilet, sit on the toilet for a bit…and you know, just chill out.” Before Alison could complete her thought, Dermot abruptly got up and left. “Dermot has gone,” noted Alison as Isla burst into giggles.
