Privacy NoticeOne Love Island couple has already split, just days after being dumped from the villa. The two bombshells shared the sad news on Aftersun on Sunday, 21 July with host Maya Jama, as they confirmed they just want to “be friends” going forward. Konnor Ewudzi, 28, and Lolly Hart, 30, both entered the villa as bombshells at different points in the series. Lolly was one of the final contestants to arrive on the Island and formed a connection with Konnor, who had struggled to find love in the villa. The pair were dumped in a shock twist when it was revealed the public had been voting for the most compatible couple. Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel won the public’s vote, and then had to pick the least compatible couple to leave the show.

Sadly, Konnor and Lolly were chosen to exit the villa. After leaving, Konnor spoke about their connection and it seemed like the pair were going to continue getting to know one another in the outside world. “My date with Lolly went really well, we have a lot in common,” he said. Konnor added: “We are not putting pressure on anything, so I’m excited to see what happens.” Lolly also admitted that she was “excited” about what the future held for her and Konnor upon exiting the show. However, during their joint appearance on Aftersun on Sunday night, Konnor and Lolly confirmed they are now “just friends”. They confirmed they plan to “go on nights out together” but won’t be seeing each other romantically going forward.

Lolly said she and Konnor “didn’t have enough time” for their connection to fully develop, while pointing out that a lot of their time in the villa was spent in challenges with their co-stars. Viewers at home were sad to hear the news of the pair’s split and took to social media to share their thoughts. “Konnor deserved better. Bring him back to the villa. He was my emotional support islander,” one person said. A second Love Island fan added: “I just love Konnor so much & only want the best for him,” while a third said: “Lolly and Konnor are actually cute I wish them the best.” Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
