Privacy NoticeReality TV star Autumn Crittendon has has died at the age of just 27 – with her death now being investigated by the police. The mother of three was a well known face to MTV viewers from her time on the fifth series of hit show 16 and Pregnant, which documented the pregnancy and birth of her eldest son Drake. According to a statement from the Henrico County Police Department shared with People, the authorities were called to a residence in Sandston in the US on Saturday, 20 July. “Members from Henrico Fire attempted life-saving measures however they were not effective,” the statement read. “The adult female, Autumn Oxley, 27, of Henrico, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Henrico Police are currently classifying this incident as a death investigation.”

It added: “Detectives are working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on this case to determine the exact cause and manner of death.” Meanwhile, her sister Misty allegedly shared a heartfelt Facebook post on Sunday, 21 July, which has now been deleted, but was captured by Starcasm, saying she died “before anyone could tell you goodbye,” reports the Mirror. In the heartfelt post, her sister expressed her deep sorrow. She wrote: “To my dearest baby sister, my twin, my rock, my babies mother, my go to, my world, the only one who got me and most of my childhood trauma, who endured it all with me, my Arnold.” She added: “You were robbed of your life at such a tender age. You left before anyone could tell you goodbye.”

In the emotional social media tribute, Misty recalled the devastating moments when she learned of her sister’s passing. In a heartfelt addition, Misty allegedly paid tribute to her sister’s legacy and vowed to ensure that her memory would live on. “I promise you I will love life in your honour. These babies will always know how much you love them, how amazing you are, how special you are, how much you sacrificed and overcame for them, everything and nothing short of it,” she wrote. Autumn appeared on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant where she starred in the fifth series of the show. At the time, she was pregnant with her son Drake, now 10, and viewers saw her navigate her pregnancy and motherhood.
