As she enjoyed a boat trip in the sun, the 66 year old dazzled as she wore her blonde hair in plaits and opted for minimal makeup as she smiled for the camera in the photos. She seemed to be having a blast in the series of snaps she posted on Instagram from the trip, which was part of a fundraiser. Linda captioned the post: “Had a wonderful couple of days attending a heartwarming fundraiser with such lovely people. Thank you so much Jay and family for your beautiful hospitality xxxx and met some lovely new friends xxxx.” In response to the selection of snaps, the Bird of a Feather actress’ Instagram followers flooded the comments with messages of support. “You look amazing Linda,” wrote one. “Linda – you look so pretty xx always was and always will be x,” wrote another. Meanwhile a third commented: Linda you look amazing I swear you are turning the clock back. You look younger and more amazing with every post you radiate health, wellness and happiness.”

The pictures come after Linda revealed that she once embarked on a diet that was “so strict” it had a list of “revolting” side effects”, reports the Mirror. She told Woman magazine: “I’ve spent most of my life on one sort of diet or another, even when I probably didn’t need to.” She revealed: “The plan (with one diet) was so strict, and the side effects I experienced were revolting. My hair started falling out, my breath stank, and because I was literally living on packet soups, a snack bar and a milkshake – that’s all I would have all day – I was starving the whole time.” Linda, who confessed her weight had “yo-yoed so much over the years”, made headlines in 2017 due to her dramatic weight loss, which she attributed to cutting out alcohol and sugar.

The actress said at the time that she felt “better” than she had done in “years”, but Linda was battling serious health issues, including alcoholism, OCD, and insomnia.
