But their relationship has seemingly failed in the ‘real world’ as it appears Trey is already moving on with Strictly Come Dancing pro AJ’s ex, according to reports. The hunk and Abbie were seen hand-in-hand after they went on their first date, confirming he has ended things with Ellie. The pair went for drinks after ‘non stop texting’ and giggled away as they were snapped outside a bar.

According to The Sun, despite plans to continue their romance on the outside, Trey and Ellie struggled to make time for each other. An insider told the publication: “Trey and Abbie have been texting non stop. When he was down in London this week he took Abbie out for their first date. “They were spotted holding hands and later attended their first red carpet together, a screening of Transformers One. It’s early days but there’s a definite spark.” Following their exit from Love Island, Trey had initially suggested that he wanted to continue to date Ellie. He said: “Ellie and I hit it off from the start, that initial chemistry and attraction. I love how she lives a similar corporate life to me.”

He continued: “There was that, coupled with the sexual chemistry, we were inseparable. No dates arranged yet, but I’m sure we’ll talk and get something organised.” Having only just coupled up together during Casa Amor, Ellie and Trey’s time together in the villa had only just started when it came to an abrupt end. Prior to entering Casa Amor, Trey was in a couple with Jess White, though he chose to twist and re-enter the main villa alongside newbie Ellie.

Upon leaving the show, Ellie also revealed whether she believed she and Trey will stay together. She explained: “He was the person that made me feel the most comfortable, so naturally I gave him more attention than anyone else. “We definitely had a good connection so we’ll have to see what happens. We’re going to go with the flow and not put any pressure on anything.” Meanwhile professional dancer AJ, 29, and Abbie split in 2022 after four years together and Abbie has been single ever since. Abbie split from AJ, 28, in September 2022 after the dancer, who is the brother of Curtis Pritchard, went to South America to film The Challenge.

Speaking to The Sun, Abbie, who was also linked to Love Island’s Liam Reardon, said that the split came “completely out of the blue” when her boyfriend confessed that he didn’t love her anymore. She told the newspaper: “I’m completely devastated and my world has fallen apart. AJ isn’t the person I thought he was. After everything I went through with him I thought we would be together for ever. He has been the biggest disappointment to me. “This has knocked my confidence after my accident and I need to rebuild myself now.
