Privacy NoticeFans of Katie Price have called her out, accusing her of fibbing about a recent ankle injury she sustained while on holiday. Just days after being spotted in a wheelchair with a bandaged ankle, the 46 year old was seen energetically dancing around her kitchen in a new video. The star seemed to be in high spirits as she prepared for the Top of the Slops Drag Competition in Clapham, London on November 9, where she’s set to be a guest judge. However, eagle-eyed followers were quick to notice that her recent injury seemed to have miraculously healed. One Instagram user commented: “See the ankles fine now… another stunt for sympathy.” Another chimed in: “Nothing wrong with your ankle I see.”

A third accused: “She just lies about everything.” The mum-of-five recently flew off to Cyprus with boyfriend JJ Slater, but their sunny getaway took a less than relaxing turn after Katie reportedly slipped on a rock, injuring her ankle. Instead of basking in the sun by the pool, Katie was seen looking downcast as JJ pushed her around in a wheelchair. Still dressed in a lime green bikini, the former glamour model’s ankle was wrapped in a bandage. This isn’t the first time Katie has had a serious accident; back in 2020, she fell from a 25-foot wall onto concrete while in Turkey, leaving her unable to walk. The incident resulted in broken bones in both her feet and required multiple surgeries. For six months, Katie couldn’t walk properly and had to use a wheelchair and wear medical boots. In a candid chat with The Sun back in February 2021, Katie shared her heartache over the aftermath of her injury, confessing: “I will never be the same”.
Katie recently enjoyed a holiday, which caused the injury, with her boyfriend JJ Slater
She went on to reveal the lasting impact of the accident, saying: “I’ve got a limp when I walk now as one leg is longer than the other because of all the metal in the foot – I waddle like a duck. It does make me feel a bit paranoid. I’m registered disabled and have got letters from the doctors to certify me for a blue badge, which I’ve sent off for.” Katie also disclosed that medical professionals had seen similar cases where amputation was necessary, and she had to check into The Priory to relearn walking. On her YouTube channel, she delved into the details of how her ‘silly little accident’ occurred. She described the moment at the time, saying: “I was running and jumped over a wall, as it was a little shortcut, and didn’t really judge the height. I just sort of fell funny on my ankles and I fractured the hairline on my heels and stuff. The hospital here wanted to operate and wanted to put pins in and stuff. “Because I’m away, I’d rather wait until I get home. It’s the most painful thing ever. Like when I was trying to put the cast on, I was screaming in pain. They said I won’t be able to walk for three to six months.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
