Despite the cool setup, Alex revealed that there wasn’t much time to enjoy it due to the jam-packed filming schedule. Reflecting on the ups and downs with Eliza, he confessed that things took a turn for the worse during episode 11, especially when the geeks were thrown into the deep end with speed dating. Alex recounted, “It was like some sort of bar and we went from table to chair to meet six girls in total and there was a good variety of people,” reports the Mirror. He went on to say: “Fast forward to the end of the episode and there is no prize on guessing who was in the losers’ contest for the fourth time and I just thought I can not deal with this anymore.”

Despite the challenges he faced, he made it to the final but despite ‘fighting so hard’ to win with Eliza they were voted out after 10 out of 14 contestants chose them for elimination. Reflecting on the experience, he said: “I just think there were many other ways the finale could have played out and it didn’t need to depend on who you were friends with, but the journey itself was amazing.” He concluded: “I got to meet a girl who I had nothing in common with and we did so much awesome stuff together, especially having to fight so hard for a place in the final really made me appreciate how well we complement each other’s skill sets.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
