Privacy NoticeKate Middleton, the Princess Of Wales, has reportedly left her Windsor home for the first time since she returned there following her abdominal surgery. The 42-year-old royal is said to be “recovering well” with family by her side. After undergoing surgery in The London Clinic, Kate spent 13 days in hospital before returning home to Adelaide Cottage on 13 January. In a sign she’s starting to feel better again, Kate has reportedly headed to Sandringham Estate, in Norfolk, with her family, Prince William and children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, for half term. The source told Mail Online: “Catherine is recovering well. She was looking forward to a change of scene and will be able to take it easy in Norfolk while the children let off steam with William.”

At the event he thanked the public for their “kind messages of support” for the health difficulties his father, King Charles and his wife are experiencing. He said: “I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you, also, for the kind messages of support for Catherine and for my father, especially in recent days. “It means a great deal to us all.” Kate’s surgery comes as Charles was also treated in hospital and later revealed his cancer diagnosis.
