Privacy NoticeComedian and actor Lee Mack looks unrecognisable without his trademark beard, in unearthed photographs,. The star can be seen without his usual facial hair in the pictures, making him look entirely different to his usual self. Lee, 55, who is known for hosting The 1% Club, can be seen smiling for the camera in one snap, taken at The Loaded Laftas Comedy Awards in 2005. He sports longer hair than usual with a small bit of stubble on his face. A second photo shows the comedian pulling a fun face for the camera. Lee sports a navy blue blazer and a black shirt in the picture.

The snaps were taken back in 2005, before Lee had shot to fame in the BBC’s hit sitcom Not Going Out. At the time, he was known for appearing on They Think It’s All Over and The Sketch Show. He joined 8 Out Of 10 Cats in 2005 and the following year Not Going Out began airing on BBC One. Lee writes and stars in the comedy sitcom, which now also stars the likes of Sally Bretton, Deborah Grant, Geoffrey Whitehead, Hugh Dennis, and Abigail Cruttenden. Lee, who has appeared in every single episode of Not Going Out, plays a fictional version of himself. In 2007, Lee joined Would I Lie To You? as a team captain – a role which saw him find further fame. He stars alongside fellow comedian David Mitchell and a string of celebrity guests, with Rob Brydon on hosting duties.

In more recent years, Lee has turned his hand to TV presenting. He hosted The Royal Variety Performance in 2022 as well as Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof alongside Holly Willoughby. During that same year, Lee began hosting ITV’s The 1% Club. The gameshow has proven to be a huge with TV viewers since its launch, with the third series beginning airing back in April. In 2023, he starred in both Inside No.9 as well as Brassic. Away from the spotlight, Lee, whose real name is Lee Gordon McKillop, is married to Tara McKillop. The couple wed in 2005 and are parents to son Arlo. Not much is known about Tara as she tends to shun the limelight in contrast to her husband.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
