In light of the buzz around the Barbie movie, Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble enjoyed a pink-themed date last year. Arriving in a sleek white car, they entered a villa that could rival Barbie’s Dreamhouse. Inside, the expansive villa was adorned with an abundance of pink flowers and decor, and the couple even indulged in pink-hued drinks. After a romantic poolside rendezvous, Zach and Molly took to the water where they frolicked on a giant flamingo-shaped pool float. Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall

During last year’s winter series of Love Island, Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall had a unique and unforgettable date experience as they were treated to a romantic lakeside dinner. Barefoot and surrounded by the stunning South African landscape, the couple were serenaded by a talented choir during their final date, creating a magical and undoubtedly memorable moment for them both. However, despite the breathtaking location, social media users had plenty to say about the date, with one dubbing it a “swamp”. One Twitter user posted: “Wtf? Tom gets to drive Samie in a vintage Ferrari and Ron and Lana have to sit in a swamp? Make it make sense.'” Faye Winter and Teddy Soares

But Lana and Ron aren’t the only contestants who’ve been sent on a final date involving a questionable body of water. In 2021, Faye Winter and Teddy Soares enjoyed a date that saw them standing in a pool strewn with red rose petals. Despite the unusual setting, the pair made the most of the romantic atmosphere, discussing their journey together while sipping on drinks and nibbling from a floating fruit basket. However, viewers at home were left divided over the choice of location. “I’m sorry but I’m just so confused why Teddy and Faye’s date concept? ? ? ? No chairs, no comfort, just pool water and vibes #LoveIsland,” one baffled Twitter user posted. Another chimed in with: “I’m sorry but how weird is Faye and Teddy’s date, just standing in a warm pool of petals? ? Looks great #LoveIsland”. Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury

Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury’s Beauty and the Beast themed final date on Love Island 2019 remains one of the most enchanting moments in the show’s history. The couple were whisked away to a magical candlelit dinner and dance, reminiscent of the iconic Disney animation. Molly, draped in a stunning yellow gown, descended a marble staircase into Tommy’s arms before they entered a ballroom lit by candles for a romantic dance. Not only did they wow each other with their moves, but they also enjoyed a sumptuous dinner and even talked about moving in together post-show. Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti

Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti’s date was another unforgettable moment from Love Island, echoing the grandeur of Molly and Tommy’s experience. The 2022 winners dined in a colosseum-style setting, adding to the list of the show’s most romantic dates. Dressed to impress, the couple shared a touching moment as they relished their time together, but the romance level skyrocketed when none other than the world-famous tenor Alfie Boe turned up to serenade them. With a guitarist in tow, the classical sensation belted out some truly iconic tunes, delivering such an emotional performance that it even moved Ekin-Su to tears. Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan

In another unforgettable date which also holds the record for being the priciest one on the show to date Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan were flown by helicopter to a stunning oceanside picnic spot. An ecstatic Anton exclaimed, “I’ve never done anything like this in my life before,” as they took off in the helicopter, heading towards an undisclosed location that turned out to be an idyllic cove. Overwhelmed by both the breathtaking setting and the company of the girl he was with, Anton confessed: “When I was younger, my mum took me to see Beauty and the Beast and I fell in love with Belle. She bought me a little Belle figurine and I slept with it every night. I’ve now found my real-life Belle.” Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish

The ex-couple had to suffer through an extravagant yet uncomfortable date before they decided to exit the competition mere days before the finale was set to occur. When asked by the producers if they still wanted to go ahead with the date, the once-doting couple pushed aside their uncertainties and decided it would be “silly not to go”, before being escorted to the luxurious yacht. Jake, appearing puzzled, expressed: “It’s a tricky one really. I didn’t think I’d be coming on a date with the one I thought was the one”. To which Liberty responded with: “I don’t know what happened along the way but the spark just faded.” Liberty confessed to Jake that she “did fall in love” with him during their steamy stint in the villa, leading to their joint decision to bow out of the show.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
