Privacy NoticeTalk show host and actress Oprah Winfrey has been seen looking slimmer than ever while arriving at the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show. The 70-year-old was pictured at the TV studio, in Los Angeles, California, ahead of her appearance on the talk show. On the latest episode of Kimmy Kimmel, Oprah opened up about how she lost weight and why she resigned from her position on the board of WeightWatchers. Oprah worked with WeightWatchers for nearly a decade but decided to leave because she did not want “any conflict of interest.” Speaking on the show, ahead of her new ABC special about weight loss drugs airing Monday night, Oprah said: “I decided that because this special was really important to me. “And I wanted to be able to talk about whatever I wanted to talk about and Weight Watchers is now in the business of being a weight health company that also administers drug medications for weight.”

Though she didn’t name the weight loss drug brand, she said the medication has allowed her to live a healthier life after battling with her weight all her life. Despite stepping down, she stressed that she would continue to be involved in the message behind WeightWatchers. In her statement , she said: “I look forward to continuing to advise and collaborate with WeightWatchers and CEO Sima Sistani in elevating the conversation around recognising obesity as a chronic condition, working to reduce stigma, and advocating for health equity. “Weight Health is a critically important topic and one that needs to be addressed at a broader scale. I plan to participate in a number of public forums and events where I will be a vocal advocate in advancing this conversation.”

Continuing the weight loss conversation with Jimmy Kimmel, the billionaire said a doctor told her the “obesity is a disease” and her weight would always fluctuate because of it. “I’ve been in the storm of losing the weight, gaining it back. Losing the weight, gaining it back, and what I realised when I listened to what the doctor said, that you are always going to put it back on, and it’s like holding your breath underwater and trying not to rise.” she explained.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
