Privacy NoticeLouise Thompson has enjoyed a night out to support her brother Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks. Made In Chelsea star Sam and his best friend, TOWIE’s Pete, have embarked on a live tour of their Staying Relevant podcast. On Saturday night, 6 April, they took over the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London, with friends and family turning up to show their support. Mum-of-one Louise went to watch the show in what was her “first night out in a very long time”, amid ongoing health issues. She posted a selection of photographs to Instagram from the night, including pictures of her posing with her brother and their mum Karen backstage. Louise captioned them: “I look like a proper fan girl in the first pic. I must admit I was smiling like a Cheshire cat throughout the whole performance.

“I can’t believe my brother is actually on stage doing his thing in front of thousands of people. Not only people… PAYING CUSTOMERS. Does that make him a performing artist?”Gosh how surreal. Proud, proud , proud. One of the highlights was reminiscing on how he was described as ‘Louise’s brother’ for an entire 3 months on Made in Chelsea with no proper intro. “Lowlight was realising that I’m now ‘Sam Thompson’s sister’. How the tables have turned. Love you.” The 33-year-old has been in and out of hospital, after suffering string of health issues since almost dying during son Leo-Hunter’s traumatic birth in 2021.

Since the birth she has spoke of dealing with health challenges including PTSD. She also suffers from ulcerative colitis, a chronic bowel condition leading to parts of the gut becoming swollen, inflamed and ulcerated, and lupus, a chronic autoimmune condition, that has left her with exhaustion and joint pain. This year she has already been admitted to hospital twice, including spending 17 days there after going through severe pain on returning from a holiday in Antigua. In a lengthy Instagram post shared on 12 February, Louise revealed she was losing a cup of blood every 20 minutes before she was taken to hospital.

She explained that while on holiday in Antigua she “couldn’t really walk” and was “disoriented a lot” but “pushed through”. “The fear kept escalating when I was going to the loo every 20 minutes losing cupfuls of blood,” she added. “My body was ‘surviving’, ‘masking’ and ‘compensating’ but probably only because I’m young and I’ve got a good ticker. Bit of a miracle really.” She said she eventually told her family and they returned home to the UK earlier than planned to go straight to hospital.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
