Privacy Notice Amanda Holden was given a stern warning by fans after she gave them a peek inside her sun-soaked holiday to Greece. The 53 year old, who was recently called “perfection”, took to Instagram to share an update from her trip abroad, though her antics left her followers concerned. In a video uploaded to the social media platform, the Britain’s Got Talent judge looked sensational as she enjoyed a trip out to a restaurant. For the occasion, Amanda sported a black dress which featured a plunging neckline and gold detailing on the straps – though it wasn’t her outfit that got people talking.

And as she sat in the restaurant, Amanda could be seen stroking a grey and white cat as it perched on her lap. Captioning the sweet clip, she wrote: “Soooo cute. #catsofcorfu Dress @melissaodabash Necklace @corujewellery”. Taking to the comments section, many Instagram users expressed their concern over Amanda’s behaviour as some worried about how hygienic it was to stroke the kitten. “Beware of ringworm. We caught ringworm after befriending some local kittens in Lesbos,” wrote one. “Oh dear you always get told even by the locals not to touch cats,” another added. “Sad to say, pretty sure that kitten is full of worms! Not great to be petting it at a restaurant table!,” a third commented.

The stern warning from fans comes after Amanda’s daughter Lexi was rushed to hospital after contracting E.coli. Earlier this month, the doting mum revealed that 18 year old Lexi had spent five days in hospital after experiencing symptoms including severe stomach cramps and bloating. Speaking about the experience, the TV personality explained that she’d taken Lexi to their GP to investigate the cause of her discomfort and after undergoing tests it was determined that the A-Level student had contracted a bacterial infection.

It was later discovered that Lexi had contracted “VTEC E.Coli” and that, if needed, Amanda was ready to pull out of filming for Britain’s Got Talent to look after her daughter. “I was filming Britain’s Got Talent live shows during this time and, had the situation worsened, I’d have had no hesitation in pulling out of the show,” she told The Sun. Reflecting on the scare, she continued: “I was getting about two hours’ sleep a night, but all I cared about was Lexi getting better.” She also praised her BGT colleagues Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, for being “brilliant” and “supportive” during the challenging period.
