Privacy NoticeSunday night’s Love Island episode saw king of ‘reem’ Joey Essex and his ladylove Jessy Potts ousted from the villa in a dramatic twist which saw former stars from this series return to decide who leaves. The unlucky pair, who just missed out on tonight’s final, were forced to pack their bags and depart after receiving the most votes for ‘least compatible’. Among those gunning for the lovebirds were Joey’s exes, Samantha Kenny and Grace Jackson, who had choice words for the man who dumped both of them. However, despite losing out on the £50,000 cash prize, it appears that the Essex lothario is going to be just fine, thanks to the work he has lined up post the show. His team have reportedly secured him a string of £6,000-an-hour meet and greets around the UK, where fans will be able to interact and party with the former TOWIE star.

It’s gruelling to be out every night but the financial reward will be huge.” Joey was considered a divisive person in the villa, often getting into arguments with his fellow islanders thanks to his strong and blunt opinions. As well as ending his relationships with Samantha and Grace on sour notes, the reality star also recently had clashes with Ciaran Davies, Mimii Ngulebe and Josh Oyinson.

Apart from his exes, the other islanders that voted them off were Munveer Jabbal, Patsy Field, Sam Taylor and Reuben Collins. After being booted out, Joey expressed: “It feels good to be leaving, I feel like I had an amazing run in there, went through the full cycle of emotions you get in the villa, and if you have to leave, you might as well go out with a bang” “It’s my birthday on Monday so feels like I’m going out at a good time.” Four couples will battle it out during tonight’s Love Island final, with Josh and Mimii, Ciaran and Nicole Samuel, Sean Stone and Matilda Draper and Ayo Odukoya and Jess Spencer hoping to take home the £50,000 cash prize.
