Privacy NoticeIts cold and dreary January and it’s the last push until pay day. However, it is not all doom and gloom as we are here to give you some good news. If you’re a Ben & Jerry’s fan, but then again who isn’t a Ben & Jerry’s fan, you’ll be excited to hear that you can now buy the chunks of the cookie dough from the brand’s best-loved ice cream flavour. That’s right, it’s the gooey pieces but without the ice cream… delicious!

They are designed to be bought frozen just like the chunks in the ice cream and it is important to note that these are not for actually baking with and you cannot make actual cookies out of them – you should just munch them as they come. This delicious snack is completely safe to eat raw due to the fact that they contain pasteurised eggs and heat-treated flour. They have finally come to the UK although they have already been in America for quite some time.
No longer do you need to pick out all the chunks of cookie dough, Ben & Jerry’s have done it for you!

Although not online yet, they have already been spotted in Asda stores already. Each bag cost £4.00 and weighs 170g. So far only the chocolate chip flavour has been spotted but in the UK they also sell peanut butter, double chocolate, a vegan version and half baked, which is a mixture of fudge brownies and cookie dough. Fingers crossed all that variety will be making it across the pond soon. However, you should not eat the snack in one go because one bag contains 666 calories which is more than a Big Mac from McDonald’s which has 508 calories.

In each bag there is six portions which makes each snack 111 calories per one 28g serving. Last year when they launched in the US Ben & Jerry’s said: “We’ve freed the chunks! We know how it goes: sometimes when you’re digging in to a pint of ice cream you’re really just chasing those chunks with reckless abandon. “Go straight for the good stuff with a bag of totally snackable Cookie Dough Chunks!” The snacking bags have very high reviews on the official Ben & Jerry’s website. Moreover, the original chocolate chip flavour has 15 ratings and all of them are five stars.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
