Privacy NoticeThe Chase star Jenny Ryan, also known as The Vixen, has recounted the time she was shockingly robbed at her home. Jenny was on Good Morning Britain to discuss her new role in a cabaret show when the interview took a turn. She updated presenters Ranvir Singh and Ed Balls about the “robbery scam” she experienced in April of this year. Jenny explained she had a knock on the door from a workman, who said there was a leak in the flat upstairs and he needed to take some photos. The star then revealed: “He didn’t just take some photos, he took my phone and some jewellery that was irreplaceable. “I just wanted it to be over and by that time he was in my house, he had shut himself in my bedroom and was rifling through my stuff.” Jenny went on to say people should be wary if anything ‘seems out of the ordinary’ in order to protect themselves She also encouraged the public to be ‘impolite’ and ‘just say no’ in these kind of situations. Sadly, Jenny didn’t realise she’d been robbed until he was ‘out the door’ with her belongings. Jenny said it is a “really clever bit of scam” as the criminal had at first left the bedroom door open, showing the phone perched on the sheets, before shutting it and taking it. It’s not the first time Jenny has spoken out about the ordeal. In April 2024, just after the robbery, she confessed during an interview on BBC Morning Live, that she felt ‘scared’ in her house and ‘vulnerable’. Jenny added at the time that what she really wanted was for the police to call her and make sure she was ‘OK’ following the invasive ordeal.

In 2023, she starred in an episode of Celebrity Escape to the Country and became emotional when she talked of relocating to her hometown.
