Privacy NoticeChristmas and chocolate go hand in hand, so forgive us if we’re a little excited about the news that Lindt are launching an epic sharing tin of their popular Lindor treats. The Lindor chocolate truffles usually come in boxes of just one flavour, which are priced at around £4, but now there’s a whole tin which has six different flavours – including a new salted caramel. Although we’ve only just made it through a very quiet lockdown summer, talk of the festive season is already brewing, with the luxury confectionary brand making our chocolate dreams come true.

It’s the very first official sharing tin that Lindt will be launching for Christmas 2020, as previously Lindor fans could create their own pick and mix style boxes and stands available at selected John Lewis stores and Sainsbury’s. The 400g Lindor Assorted Tin will launch with an initial promotional offer costing just £10 for 32 individually wrapped assorted truffles, and the regular retail price is set at £15. It will be available at Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Lindt stores both retail and online, featuring the signature, red-wrapped original chocolate, plus white, extra dark, milk and white, hazelnut, and the new salted caramel flavour.

The Lindor tin will no doubt prove to be competition for other Christmas staples like Celebrations, Cadbury Miniature Heroes, Roses and Quality Street. And although we’re keen for this to arrive, Metro.co.uk point out that if you’re a little impatient for the assorted box you can head over to Amazon and get a 600g box for £12 right now. The salted caramel flavour isn’t part of the assortment, so we figure that’s exclusive to the Christmas tin.
