Back in 2022, the influencer – who is engaged to boxer Tommy Fury – purchased a Mercedes-AMG G 63 Magno Edition and said on her YouTube channel that it was her “dream car”. At the time, Molly-Mae said: “I’m joining you today from my new car which is so exciting. I’ve only waited for this moment for just over a year. “I don’t do vision boards, but it’s been on my goals list for a while and I have been desperate to tick it off… and now I have. This has been my dream car for literally years and years. I feel so lucky and happy.” However, just a few months ago, Molly-Mae was hit with accusations from trolls that she’s ‘flaunting wealth’ after she posted a snap of herself taking a £7,000 designer handbag to the beach.

The reality TV star, who rose to fame after starring on Love Island in 2019, told her 7.8 million Instagram followers that she was finally able to ‘breathe’ as she enjoyed a luxurious getaway to Dubai. Molly-Mae posted a picture of her black woven Chanel beach bag, reportedly worth a staggering £7,000, to her page as well as to her Story where she confessed she’ll “never be over this bag.” She looked carefree and happy in a white flowy shirt and posed with her back to the camera. She captioned the post: “… and breathe.” But the post caught the eye of some trolls who couldn’t keep their eye off of the huge designer beach bag which featured gold chain handles. One user shared: “Breath! Tough life being a millionaire.” Another added: “Its one thing to enjoy lavish vacation, its the other thing to flaunt it on social media.” A third unimpressed fan replied: “Why do you show off and brag Chanel bag?” Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “I’ve got to be honest I’m quite bored of seeing this unrealistic lifestyle. “From now on I’ll follow people who have realistic and relatable lives, there’s so much going on with the cost of living and wars and people look up to these influencers.” However, Molly-Mae’s loyal followers defended her and gushed over her new bag addition to her luxury collection. They described the post as “dreamy” and “the bag is everything” as they complimented the TV star.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
