Privacy NoticeOlivia Naylor, the other half of Manchester City star John Stones, generously donated £20K to a fundraiser for a young boy’s experimental leukaemia treatment. Olivia, who owns her own cosmetics business, was a single mum when she started dating the footballer and after welcoming a child together, she generously helped a boy called Dillan. Dillan was diagnosed with leukaemia when he was just one year old and is still fighting the disease at the age of five. After a successful campaign to find a match, Dillan underwent a bone marrow transplant in 2022, with a testing event held at City’s Etihad Stadium, supported by John himself.

Unfortunately, Dillan experienced a relapse in his marrow and there are no more treatments available in the UK. Any further treatment will have to be self-funded experimental trials which led to Dillan’s mum, Amy Ramsey, from Manchester, to launch a GoFundMe campaign to raise £1 million to take Dillan to an upcoming trial in Washington, reports the Manchester Evening News. So far, £656,196 of the goal has been raised from over 26.5K donations, with Olivia herself contributing £20K. The fundraising page, which was set up in August 2023, reads: “Dillan was diagnosed with Leukemia at aged 1 and was given a 93% cure rate. After 2 years of gruelling chemotherapy and suffering, Dillan relapsed Aug 2022. He had a bone marrow transplant at Christmas last year and relapsed again in March this year. He had Car T cell therapy in May this year.

“4 days ago we were told he has relapsed again in his bone marrow, and that there are no more treatment options in the UK, and that his chance at cure is now very small. Anything going forward would be an experimental trial, there is a trial open in Washington that starts in October which has to be self funded so we Dont have long to raise the money! “Dillan should not have to go through this, he is the most precious, kind, amazing little boy with the funniest character. I can’t bare the thought of losing him, we need as much help financially as we can get.” “PLEASE HELP SAVE HIM, together as a community we found him a match last year, now we need your help to find him a cure!” Olivia donated the money after she had welcomed a son with her Man City partner at the beginning of 2023. It is the second child for both parents, with each already being a parent to a child from a previous relationship – John to a daughter and Olivia to a son.

A source told The Sun at the time: “They’re absolutely thrilled. They couldn’t have asked for a better way to begin the year than with the birth of their son. “He’s absolutely gorgeous and they’re so thankful. They take nothing for granted. They both work extremely hard but it’s been lovely to spend some time together at home with the kids. “Family is such an important part of their lives and they’re elated he has arrived safe and well.” The couple are thought to have been dating for around four years, with Olivia no doubt on the sideline to support her man during the FA Cup Final against Manchester United on Saturday, 25 May.
