The high street bakery is back again with another game-changing vegan pastry, announcing the new addition only yesterday on their social media accounts. A brand sparking new plant-based version of its iconic sausage, bean, and cheese melt will be hitting stores soon. How soon? We hear you ask! Well, only a few days actually! In a tweet, Greggs wrote: “The Vegan Sausage, Bean, and CheeZe Melt is coming. WARNING, it’s a bit of a mouthful.” They also added a video teaser, which read: “First we gave you the vegan sausage roll. “Then the vegan steak bake. “And now, another legend has been veganed”.

According to Greggs, it’s fulfilling and tasty, and sceptican vegans need not worry about it being a terrible ‘fake’ of the real bake, as they’ve ensured it has the exact same “sausagey”and “beany” flavours that we’re all familiar with. Get ready for the launch of the new bake, as it’s likely to be just as hectic as the others, with crowds lining outside the doors for a chance to sink their teeth into the bargain snack. The ‘Vegan Sausage, Bean and CheeZe Bake’ launches in-stores on August 5, 2021, only a week away, so whack it in your diaries before you forget.
