Privacy NoticeCoronation Street’s young talent Jude Riordan enjoyed a heartfelt reunion with his on-screen mum Rachel Leskovac at the theatre this week, as the pair were surrounded by stars from both Corrie and Waterloo Road who had travelled to Manchester on Wednesday 31 July to see Kym Marsh take to the stage as the infamous Cruella De Vil in Disney’s 101 Dalmatians: The Musical. Kym had teased her lead role as the socialite plotting to transform adorable Dalmatian puppies into a lavish fur coat earlier in the week with the words: “Lock up your puppies… she’s on her way to Manchester.” Her family, plus loyal friends from both Coronation Street, where she starred as Michelle Connor, and Waterloo Road, where she’s known as school cook Nicky Walters, all gathered to support her at the much-anticipated show at the Palace Theatre. Jude, who won our hearts as Sam Blakeman in Corrie, joined young soap opera sensations including Billie Naylor (Ruby Dobbs), Isabella Flanagan (Hope Stape), Charlie Wrenshall (Liam Connor), Bobby Bradshaw (Jake Windass), and Emmerdale’s Amelia Flanagan (April Windsor) for the gala event, reports the Manchester Evening News.
