Sweet tooth connoisseurs aren’t being left behind either, as a new McFlurry flavour is also on the way alongside a fresh fruity punch drink to help wash it down. So get ready to taste the flavours of summer as part of their ‘summer holiday’-themed menu and embark on a trip to Italy within the world of the golden arches. No, really… It’s genuinely called the Taste of Italy Summer Menu and the first wave of tempting goods will touch down from Wednesday, 8 June. You’ll be able to sample the new Italian Stack, which is a very naughty combination of two beef patties, mozzarella, crispy onions, tomato sauce, lettuce and a smooth cheese sauce. Naturally, it’ll all be served in a freshly toasted tomato and herb style bun. Mcnificient.

Picture this: a crispy fillet topped by a juicy tomato slice, mozzarella, a basil pesto style sauce, red onion and lettuce, and served up in a toasted ciabatta-style bun. If your mouth isn’t watering, then we haven’t done our job at describing it well enough… and need to introduce you to the latest take on the fan-favourite McFlurry.
A tiramisu-flavoured McFlurry is sure to set your heart a’flutter
If you’re a fan of tiramisu (chocolate, caffeine – what’s not to love?), then you’ll be head over heels for the latest ice cream flavour. Finally, it’s time to get your mozzarella dip on as the cheesy ‘chips’ will be making a highly sought after return to the menu on the same day.

Later, on July 27, hop back on board McDonalds’ flight to all things great taste and culture as the fast food chain introduces the Taste of Spain and Cyprus menu. We’re already desperate for the hot kick of Spanish flavours, and you won’t be disappointed. The Spicy Spanish Stack has two beef patties, chilli cheddar, red onion, spicy tomato sauce and lettuce served up in a warm paprika bun. The Chicken Fiesta comes with a crispy chicken fillet topped with chorizo, chilli cheddar, spicy tomato sauce, red onion and lettuce in its own warm toasted chilli and paprika topped bun.

And somehow, miraculously, if that wasn’t already enough, a brand new halloumi fries side will also be added to the menu – served in a bag of four deliciously cheesy, batter-coated pieces of halloumi heaven and served with a rich tomato dip. But don’t worry, if you can’t handle the heat, or the thought is simply getting you a little hot under the collar, you can take a moment to refresh yourself with McDonald’s new Spanish Fruit Punch. The chilled soft drink with feature flavours of berry and citrus.

One small downside, however. Maccies lovers will have to say a brief goodbye to some of their current menu favourites, including the McSpicy chicken burger and the Grand Big Mac. The Flake McFlurry and its raspberry twin also faces the chop. The four popular items are only available to buy until Tuesday, June 7.
