Usually sporting dark brown locks, Maura opted for a lighter shade this time around, sharing a stunning selfie on her Instagram Stories. The 33 year old beauty styled her new hair in loose waves and paired it with a chic black corset. She captioned the post: “Lightened my hair because the sun in Fiji already did the hard part! ! Do we like it? I’m unsure.”

Maura spent several months in Fiji filming for the popular dating programme. In addition to guest hosting the main show, Maura also presents Love Island: Aftersun. A few weeks back, she found herself blushing after filming with Love Island USA contestant Harrison Luna, reports the Mirror. An unseen clip showed her swooning over the hunky contestant, leaving her a tad embarrassed. Behind-the-scenes footage from the spin-off show, AfterSun, revealed Maura getting flustered over Harrison. The handsome finance worker, who bears a striking resemblance to actor Charlie Hunnam, seemed to have left Maura all hot and bothered as a crew member adjusted Harrison’s microphone. Using her cue card to fan herself, she quipped: “I’ll just sweat over here. It’s this fire.” Unaware of the fire pit, Harrison responded: “Yeah it’s pretty hot here in Fiji.”

When their interview wrapped up, Harrison got to his feet, offering Maura Higgins a warm handshake and saying: “Nice to see you again.” Maura couldn’t hide her admiration as he walked away; she dreamily formed a heart with her hands and mouthed “Love you” before cheekily suggesting, “What a man. Can I go in as a bombshell? ” She then chuckled at her own candid moment, admitting: “I’m actually weirded out by how much I was staring at him.” In a scoop earlier this year, The Sun reported that Maura had split from her beau Bobby Holland Hanton, who is Chris Hemsworth’s stunt double. The couple began their romance last summer, but come March, sources claimed to the tabloid that Maura felt they didn’t have a future together. A source said: “It was really fun for a while.
