The soap star’s daughter, Mia Winward-Dunn, 19, has claimed that she’s been cut off by her mum following an argument about her choice to share risque snaps and videos on the platform. The young influencer said she now racks up an eye-watering £30,000 each month on the site. However, her mum, who is best known for her role as Katie Sugden on ITV’s Emmerdale, isn’t thought to be impressed by her daughter’s business venture. Mia opened up about the rift with her mum and told The Sun: “[My mum] said some pretty mean things when we did last speak. It was awful.” Still, Mia professed her undying love for her family, despite the silence: “But I absolutely love my mum and I love all of my family but none of them speak to me now.” reports the Mirror.

OK! has contacted Sammy’s representatives for comment. Her father, ex-England and Blackburn Rovers ace David Dunn, has reportedly distanced himself too. In a previous appearance on Loose Women alongside Sammy in 2021, Mia spoke about her ambitions to mirror her mother’s successful acting career. Post-school life saw her dabbling in makeup artistry until the lure of OnlyFans presented a more lucrative path. Motivated by pals who minted a fortune on the platform, Mia switched gears and now earns roughly ten-fold her prior salary as a makeup guru. Displaying pride in her newfound profession, Mia shared: “I make around £30,000 a month from my account and only work three days a week. I film content, upload it and then spend my time doing paper work.” For Mia, OnlyFans offers more than just financial gains: “I feel so empowered on OnlyFans. I am my own boss and I’m confident in myself and what I’m doing.” Mia opened up about her family’s disapproval of her career choice and stated: “I think they’re just being protective of me.”
