Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine, Janette confessed: “I’ve tried to steer clear.” She expressed her loyalty to her girlfriends but also her sorrow over the situation and said: “It’s complicated and I’m a bit of a girl’s girl. I just don’t know. They were both really great friends and I feel very saddened by everything that’s happening, not just to them but to the [celebs] involved. “It’s such a messy time right now…” Janette also revealed her initial thoughts at the allegations against the hit dance show and said: “I was shocked because you just never want to hear that. But it is a dance show, it gets physical and it is a competition.” She added that there is ‘intensity’ that ‘sometimes happens in the rehearsal rooms’. Meanwhile, Giovanni has strongly denied Amanda’s claims of ‘unnecessary, abusive, cruel and mean’ behaviour during practices, stating his determination to ‘clear [his] name’ amid the ongoing BBC investigation.

Graziano has found himself at the centre of controversy after allegations surfaced that he ‘kicked and spat’ at his 2023 dance partner Zara. He’s expressed remorse over certain actions but firmly denies any claims of spitting. Meanwhile, Janette has been basking in the glow of motherhood with her one year old daughter Lyra, whom she adores with her husband Aljaz Skorjanec. Aljaz is set to return to the Strictly dance floor as a pro following Giovanni’s departure. Janette couldn’t contain her excitement when recounting the moment Aljaz was asked to join the 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing. She shared: “It was probably the easiest and fastest ‘yes’ of his life.” “You should have seen his face! We both cried. He’s honestly so happy”, she sweetly added.
